A first for AntJan Sauces

After tinkering around for a couple of years making sauces for family and friends. I've decided to become a bit more serious about it all.

So my first 'official' sauce is the 'Mean Green Spicy Tomato Sauce'

I did a test run of this about a month ago and have changed the ingredients slightly, the 'official' version now has a higher amount of chillies in it. It consists of green tomatoes, green jalapenoes, green orange habaneroes and various other ingredients.

I'll see how it goes so far I've sold a few bottles from my batch of 20.

The next step is to manufacture some other sauces and see how they go. Also got a website up now, it is still in the development stage at the moment.

Thanks it's been a slow process getting this far. The current batch is in 250ml bottles and will sell for $10.

As for flavour, it's very green tasting with the bite of chilli and the sweet hint of honey.

Just done another batch of this, the first lot went pretty quickly. This time I reverted to the more traditional sauce bottle.

edit: Also tried Xanthan gum when I did this batch, I like it. Got some good advice on it from Mick Stillman, definitely worth playing around with it in a small container of water first.
