A New Addition Today

Well I finally got my new Rega P5, Dynavector 10x5 Cart, Dynavector P75 Mk2, and the Rega TTPSU, also the Rega White Belt mod. Pretty awesome set-up. Listen to the Led Zepplein Mothership Box Set, freakn' awesome sound. Right now listening to A Perfect Circle Thirteenth Step, Maynard never sounded so good, lol It's been since about 1984-85 since I last listen to vinyl. It's sounding much better today than I remember back then, lol

My teenage daughter got into vinyl about 4 years ago. It made me want to get back into it. Pulling those albums from the 60's and 70's and listening to them on the turntable is so much fun! What memories...It's still a drag to turn them over every 20 minutes though. I just wish we were better at keeping them from getting scratched. Without a doubt, vinyl has the best sound. Looks like you have quite a setup to enjoy.

Thanks. Yeah, getting use to the flipping over, Keeping them clean is the key to great sound. Hopefully by Christmas I will have a nice record cleaning machine.

I see a lot of vinyl records at thrift store's. Sometimes I look through them, but
I don't have anything to play them on.

Then you need to buy a Turntable. Rega just put out a new one, the RP1 goes for $450 including cartridge. Setup in about 10-15 minutes. Once you listen to vinyl, you will probably not go back to cds/digital, it's that AWESOME!

I'd love to have another turntable. I got rid of my JVC linear tracking unit back in the early 90's and have missed it ever since.
