A question for Aussies

In my 2011 first growing experience I came across this variety

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I received the seeds from the member of an Italian chilli community, who called it with the unspecific name "Australian Pepper"...

since I haven't found this variety anywhere on the web, I was wondering which was its correct name. Again, pure curiosity + accuracy :)

The only plant i can think of would be a Big Jim. Its a C.annum
Although i dont think this chilli was originally from Australia.
Anyone else got any ideas?

uhmmm, I'm not sure... the B.J. seems smooth to me, while this variety is wrinkled; here's a picture of a full ripe pod, taken in August (before I literally cut the plant down due to a massive red mite attack):

any new idea?

Hrmm, looks a little like one I labeled "Woolworths Green Chilli" - seeds from a "green chilli" from Woolworths.

Not much help but hey, if you don't think it's anything special, I wouldn't worry about a special name.
