Yes you can.
Watch for a sour egg smell, that is a sign that the Tea is anaerobic. I would go through the sticky AACT guide, as there are lots of trouble shooting tips in there that will help with this exact issue.

What, 11 pages too long, haha. Im with Mist, you can use it, but if it smells sour and rotten eggish - then dump it.
it smells a bit earthy, and fishy.. the tea bag smelled faintly of poo, but i expect that from bat guano.. no sulfur smell what so ever.. im gonna use it.
