About my "carolina reaper plants"

Definitely not a reaper -- It's some sort of Annum not a chinense

From the pod shape in the pics you posted perhaps some form of cayenne pepper

Might be, well see how they grow.

In the future, don't buy from aliexpress. Or ebay, or amazon. There may be some reputable people on those sites but for the most part, you'll end up disappointed.

Plus one on that- fleabay, amazon, aliexpress..not good chances.
Check the vendor section here for seeds/plants that grow trues.
In the past Ive messed up a early grow and got seedlings from Piedmont Farms and Cross Country (chiliplants.com) to just name a couple.

When it comes to pepper seeds, the Chinese have figured out the American obsession.  Unfortunately, some Americans have taken advantage of that thinking they are reselling a good product.  They buy in bulk from Chinese seed folk, relabel, and offer them on the American market.  Sure it is true of folk in other countries as well.

Sad, but Its the same with a lot of products and yes you often find the resellers on Ebay.  When you find a seed dealer that does you right, stick with them.  But if you go exploring and buying from folk you dont know, not like you lost a mint.  You have healthy plants and I'll bet you are enjoying their fruit.
