Last year i grew one Demon plant. It had a very hard year, nearly killed as a seedling by a caterpillar, dropped a few times (broken stems) and fell into a sink of soapy water.
I decided to keep the plant over winter because i wanted it to have a chance. Well it has come back this year strong, produced loads, but it is very bush looking, very dense leaves which are very small, and its only about 9inches up and across.
Anyway I ask about this possible bonsai issue, as i started another Demon from seed this year, it has grown straight up fairly dense but looks totally different, the main thing is the density of leaves and the leaf size.
Have i accidentally made a bonsai?
Here are some photos, the last one shows a comparison between the two plants. Any ideas?
April this year after over wintering, very scrawny looking.
