Holy crap! I've never had so many replies to a welcome thread. I have a few other hobbies (my girlfriend likes to call them obsessions and I don't deny it) I've joined forums for... like SCUBA and reptiles to name a couple... and I've never had so many hello's. You guys rock.
I posted this pic in another thread but I'm going to post it here too, my first ever rip chile. It was delicious. I picked, took the photo and munched it on the spot. Awesome. I *think* it was a Serrano? Label at the nursery said "Red Chile Pepper"......
I'll admit I was a little nervous to eat it because really I had no idea what it was/is and I'm still learning tons about the different varieties. I'm way more nervous about eating a raw Red Carib Hab... but I planted it soo.... At least I have a nice selection to work up to it.
