Few months ago I bought Capsicum pubescens seeds from semillas
the Giant Rocoto and Yellow Rocoto.
lately I'm thinking to buy from semillas some extra seeds (black naga and few others)
and on the way i want to add some extra pubescens sorts
its not that I'm greedy with peppers, i grow many other things
but none of them causing me more joy as the peppers do
all the shapes colors aromas and pungency, its just fascinates me
i like other Solanaceae members but not as much as the chili group
after realizing that by growing only the hottest peppers I'm missing something
i started to add other peppers like jalapeno, mulato isleno
now is the right time to expend the assortment, not so much for collection sake
but more to enjoy other types of pepper
because of the good things south Americans say about the rocoto type peppers
it became an obvious objective for my garden
how ever i do not have any experience with pubescens peppers, and like to know few things:
the main reason for growing those peppers will be for eating them fresh and for cooking Rocoto relleno style Stuffed hot peppers.
they don't have to be very hot, neither to sweet
I'm interested in good size for stuffing, and good to excellent aroma
productivity can also play a roll
so if someone can advice or recommend of good varieties, it will be very helpful.
