AeroGrow - good / bad

I looked into buying one of those, but it's just to expensive. It's just a way to make people buy proprietary lights, grow cubes and tablet nutes (that clog op your pump).
Just buy some rockwool cubes, a nice formfactor CFL (or like those Secret Jardin TNeon lights or something) and build a little hydro setup. If you really want a fancy germination tray like the aerogrow is in essence, you can always buy a GH Cuttingboard or a Nutriculture X-stream or something similar. Those are better and you can put more plants in it.
Maybe the spousal approval factor wil be a bit lower than a cute all in one device, but the harvest will make up for it.
