Ahi Juan Valdez! (Puerto Carreno, Columbia)

So... some of you may be wondering why I haven't posted my pepper daemon pic yet.

Well... the reason is that for the last 2 weeks I have been busy trekking in the deep jungles of Columbia in search of the legendary "Ahi Juan Valdez". Local tribes claim the pepper represents a cross between a coffee plant and an ahi pineapple, and that the plant has been used as a sacred spiritual drink for thousands of years.

After two weeks of trekking in the deep jungle led by a native guide, I managed to find a single Ahi Juan Valdez plant, with pods set! I was allowed to snap one picture, as long as I promised to never reveal the location of the sacred plant to any outsiders.

I was even allowed to try a pod! It tasted of pineapple, chilli pepper, and coffee! How cool is that!

Wow, there is a Pepper Daemon on every pod!

Looks like you've discovered how to post pics, so.........
