Aji joe,

What an absolutely incredible number of peppers you are growing...my respect to you!!!

I would be really interested to learn on your growing challenges with some of your most challenging peppers.

I think that we can all learn a little from your endeavor.

For example, are you planning to planting all of them? Or which one stay in pots and why?

What type of soils and climatic conditions are needed for some of those rare chiles?

Looking forward to your reply.

Keep up the good work. Truly inspiring for me to continue forward

hello Cuban

thanks

i the more challening ones have been some of the wild species,, although i have now had succcess with some of them, i did not with one called florida wild, otherwise i have had great success with everything that has come my way

the soil and climate well this can be a tough question for me to answer with regard to some

Aji types (many baccatum species) like it a bit cooler for the most part but do ok in heat

i did plant all this year in the ground, except for my RAINFOREST and MAYAN COBANERO LOVE PEPPER, they are in a container

im a bit of a natural when it comes to this hobbie/addiction, for the most part there not too hard to care for, Willard on here once said and i agree with wholeheartedly, is that, CHILES ARE QUITE HARDY AND TRULY WANT TO LIVE, just give them the basic things and watch them grow

germination is the biggest hurdle i had to get over at times, i dont like messing around with heat mats and the like, my Cobaneros gave me a little trouble at first, (very slow) im glad i started early

thanks for asking if there is one thing i love to do is help

thanks your friend Joe

Great job Joe. Heck of a list of peppers, you must have a fair amount of land. Having purchases some of your powders how many formulas do you have?

Being a novice that I am, unreal all the different types of peppers...blows me away. You have to feel like a kid turned loose in a candy store...all that candy and what to choose...LOL.

Anyway my friend, great job!!!

Anyway my friend, great job!!!

I HAVE A LITTLE SPACE lol

i have four 20 ft rows and they are about 2 ft wide one is about 34 inches wide

i may plant things too close but i never have a problem

i have about 5 or 6 recipes, however you are one of the lucky ones, i dont make powder very often, it just about kills me everytime i make it, i dont have the proper tools to do it,

i am more of a sauce maker, and have around 20 recipes and am working on more, i dont sell sauce directly to people because of legal reasons, but have a friend who i have partnered with who has FDA certification
and yes speaking of my friend its quite a candy store indeed, my friend 75 acre farm where he grows well over 200 species of hot pepper every year gives me the chance to try stuff that most may not even think of or cant due to availability, i love it!!
i hope you enjoyed your powders, i seem to remember that you did

thanks your friend Joe

BLACK NAGA(2) from my seed
WHITE CHEIRO (1)

i will post a follow up soon to let everyone know what i have

thanks your friend Joe

Hey Joe, just wanted to let you know that the peach bhuts I got from you are kicking butt, both of ones I started are loaded down with baby pods right now, in fact pretty much all the plants I have growing came from your seed stock.
