sorry man i just realized im mixed you up with 2GODS he has it and i have not heard from him for some time now?? do you know if he is well??

it has an OK flavor, its actually a cross between an unknown ornamental and Joloro i just called it that because of it similar resplendence to a Jalapeno there not bad tasting at all, there are two variations in it one looks like the pic and has purple flowers while the other resembles a smaller Joloro Jalapeno and has white flowers, im going to emphasize upon the purple one in the pic and skip the other unless someone is interested in seed for it, i will hold seed from the other separate, maybe call it a JOLORITO (little Joloro)  i will have more seed from that plant in the pic soon, i actually have some now from the last season as well, it is on my seed list

I don't know, I was actually thinking of sending him a PM last week. Wanted to know how he was doing and his grow  I've send him quite some varieties and also some crosses I'm interested about. Mmm purple flowers, sounds fun :) I got some unexpected surprises as well this season ;) Also harvested the first ripe BJ Mustard this weekend, it's small but new pods are more elongated and just as gnarly! Will try and take a picture tomorrow.

Looks like things are coming along Joe!  Great pics!
Hopefully we have a warm fall and an extension to the season.
thanks and yeah me too

im blessed again this year that's for sure , i heard and seen lots of horror stories about how the weather mess up many peoples plants, i didn't loss any inside/outside, the worst probs i had where edema and lack of germination, then alot of leaf and some pod drop outside, but the plants worked there way through it and now are doing fine, so yeah i am blessed

thanks your friend Joe

Looking good Joe. Weather has been great here in my part of Penn's woods also. No storms yet this season (knocking on wood). Glad to see your plants nice and green. Love that Mustard Bhut.

Joe, that yellow lightning hab looks a lot like a not-burkina yellow that I got from your seed.  Interesting...  Good looking pepper.
That peach australian lantern from your seed is incredible.  I think there's like 200 pods on a plant.

really Andy because Burkina yellow is supposed to be round like a hab??, did you wanna try again this coming season??

yes it is a crazy producer what did you think of the flavor, also i have my suspicions that it may be Tonga orange hab peach mutation, it very similar but not quite

thanks your friend Joe

I had one plant with the longer shaped pods, I brought one to work with me to nibble on and build my tolerance :surprised:
I have another that is growing true and looks just like the pictures of the Burkina, so that's all fine.  They are just a little slower on ripening, but I'll have plenty.

It's funny, with the peach australian's, you said there was a melon taste, and I actually tasted that in one I had.  Weird thing, and not like I've had before.  They are a good tasting pepper and have a hot, yet tolerable heat level.  They've probably been my most pleasant surprise this year.  And again, that plant is just loaded with pods, it's amazing.

God bless your friend Joe

I probably will not make it to chilefest but I haven't given up on trying. My wife has tickets for a wine festival that is 2 hours closer. I need to convince her that the chilefest is more important! I would imaging that Mr. Weaver's fields are looking really good.
