harvesting AJs 20th Harvest 10-24-08, Largest Yet

I think I shall choose this forum to formally thank my friend AJ for his generosity in sending me a little care package of his wonderful harvest. Today I received a tupperware full of different superhots. I will be deseeding these this week and eating a piece of each. The remains will go into a pot of chili this weekend. Thanks again AJ you are an inspiration to so many on here, and just truly one of the greatest, most generous people I know.

making me blush JayT...ty my friend...

I wish I could send everyone a care package but that is just impossible...

won't be long before it will be seed trading time...and I will definitely declare none of my peppers were isolated, rather they were grown together....all the superhots were in a corner of the yard together...so you never know what you will get...but I also have other seeds I have bought for 2009 that I will let a few go of too...it is a little early for me to start trading yet 'cause I still got to deal with harvesting and stuff...

yeah, that is a horrible problem you have (still harvesting) my plants all died last week from frost. R.I.P

Man that's a hell of a problem to have come November. Gotta love Texas man :) With any luck, the cold air will have problems with customs at the Canadian border and that will buy us another month of peppers!

JayT maybe you can work on a video eating some of those peppers. Freeze warning here in the Carolinas tonight. Brought a Bhut and 7 Pod plants and put them in the tub for the night. All the other peppers will just have to defend for themselves. It is not suppose to be this cold yet!:)

I'm still debating. Kind of fighting a cold right now. If it goes away in the next couple of days, I'd love to eat that Dorset or one of the 7-Pots. Gotta take the seeds out first though so I can grow them next year.

I know that helps open the sinuses, but I am afraid that if the phlegm that I keep coughing makes me throw up that it will be quite painful. I did just have some leftover lobster, steak, and shrimp pasta alfredo that I added a healthy dose of Blair's Nirto to though.

If you can get your hands on a Reishi mushroom, do the tea thing with it and that generally gets rid of the cold and phnumonia. I have one here, but it'll cost me $11 to get it.....do not have that cash.

Thanks, I'll look for it tomorrow. For now beer. Who knows, I may be into AJ's peppers before the night is over.

hahah I find that works very well in terms of the short run but it tends to prolong the cold. I experimented with this to the extreme in college haha.
