I have thought about this venture for about 4 years now and now that retirement has come and I have all day to do nothing, I wanted something to occupy my mind and keep me sharp on my somewhat meager skillset...so this is it...

Thanks LD...there ain't no half steppin' in Texas...didn't you know that?...roflmao...it is kinda surprizing to me that I just joined this site in Oct 07 and have learned so much from the members here...I don't really think people realize how many resources for anything to do with peppers, cradle to grave (meaning when the capsaicin is ingested) there are available on this forum. Dan knew what he was doing when he created it. Reading is the answer to gaining knowledge and here, on this forum I have learned so much it scares me...and to know I have just scratched the surface is even scarier...

Do you really think the plans for that germinator would sell?...
 
With your success ?! I bet a lot of your plans/ideas would sell nicely even your irrigation of all those beautiful plants - This forum wouldnt be the same with out you - Good luck again

Congrats, AJ, and this thread makes it sound like lawyers are making all the money, but isn't it going to the trademark folks? And AJ, with all the legal issues you mentioned, it sounds like you need a chile lawyer (if your wife won't do it for you). I'm offering my services, at a nominal charge, of course (a few plants, seeds or pods - I work cheap!)

Thanks mwch...I sure didn't mean it to sound like lawyers are making all the money...there were no lawyers on my side involved...just me and the USPTO...of course, each time your TM application goes up for review, it goes to "Law Office 101" which is part of the USPTO from my understanding...

If I ever do need a "chile lawyer" I will certainly keep you in mind... ;)
