Ingredients:
500 gram Alpine Strawberries
4 Habanero Peach
Juice of 4 limes
150 gram sugar
50ml apple cider vinegar
1 vanilla stick
I got red, yellow and white alpine strawberries from a friend but I think this recipe will also work with regular strawberries. Use peppers that have a fruity taste.
Recipe:
Wash the strawberries before removing the green (don't know the word in english).
Remove the seeds from the peppers. Peppers with the vinegar in a blender and chop them very fine.
Cut open a vanilla stick and scrape out the vanilla.
Everything in a pot/pan and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Use a blender to create a smooth but thick sauce.
Put the sauce back in the pot and bring to a boil again. Test ph levels and adjust with limejuice if not correct. Simmer for aboout 5 minutes.
Add boiling hot sauce to sterilized bottles or jars.
This sauce is thick but that's what I wanted
Very good on icecream (banana in this case)
