I know Amazon has this odd system where a product gets an ID number and then others can sell it.  Could it be that the seeds sold on Amazon by Seeds n Stuff were not actually produced or offered by Refining Fire Chilies and someone is just capitalizing on Jim Duffy's good name?  Or maybe someone went to sell his own seeds, saw one of those ID numbers for the same thing and used it?

If it ain't a friend , trade winds seeds, or my local feed and seed then it's not worth my time or money. There is plenty of great growers and sellers here THP why would I want to try anyone else......

Jedi, I dont eat meat anymore but did when living in Germany.  Got to be good friends / drinking budies with some of the servers at this one guest house.  They confessed that their authentic "Hamburger" was invented for dumb Americans who would order such a thing believing it was traditional German food.  It started with the sunny side up egg,but evolved to include coconut like a German chocolate cake.... Also ham and other odd things.  Weird part, tasted damn good.

If you want Jim Duffy seeds. Then pay the premium and get them straight from him. Personally, I think he's a dick on the phone. But his Product speaks for itself, even with the premium price. I wouldn't get Red Morouga seeds anywhere else. I've bought well over a dozen strains from him and they all grew true.
Thats my 2bits on that.

hogleg, I am a great fan of Jim Duffy and have certainly ordered many seed from him.  No clue what he is like on the telephone.  I tend to use email.  There he has been fantastic and helpful.  Wasn't looking to end run him at all.  Trying to figure out why it seems like someone else is.
