Another Mystery One

On a whim I bought this baby last weekend.  There were 4 plants and this was the least scrawny. One of the other plants had a chocolate brown piece of fruit (1 1/2" long ) on it. 
ID stick says United Growers UFO Red Peppers

It doesn't look anything like the UFO variety. It doesn't really match up with anything they put out:

I was hoping that the ripe pepper would change color. It just got more dimpled.   I gave it to one of my employees yesterday . My official heat tester

It's an odd ball pepper for sure, not quite sure what to make of it.
