disease Anthracnose possibly

I'm 90% certain my Espelettes and Elephant Ear peppers have got anthracnose.

Had the same problem last year but was so inundated with peppers it didn't worry me much.

My question is: the Espelettes and Elephant Ears had this problem last year, I'm growing seeds I harvested from last years' crop - would anthracnose be passed by diseased seeds?

If yes, if I soaked seeds in H2O2 would that do the trick?

Basically is it a soil/seed/watering/feed problem? Or a shit happens problem?

Is this BER? I have not picked a ripe SRS yet. However the Pods are not doing too well.
I started using Cal Mag on July 15 this season. None of the other peppers have anything like this.

It affect mostly large pods starting to turn, note the russeted areas on the pods.

In 22 we used Surround WP on everything due to high heat stress.
This season it was a real fight without a Gun with the SBs, fruit & vegetables were hit hard.

First year in 3 seasons we got peaches & the SBs were all over. I believe Surround WP did more than just keep the plants
cooler.

This season the pears weren't worth picking even the trees tips are black & dying from the blight.
