Ants as pollinators(sp)?

Hey there Woody! If you are talking about from the diatometous earth, not to worry. DE's main "ingredient" is silica not Calcium. You may be thinking of limestone. Very different.
 
Ahhh, so I can use it all year to keep ants away without I'll effect, correct?

(Wasn't concerned with pollination, I just hadn't found a more apt thread to put it in. The search on here didn't give good results till wayyyy down the page!)
 
As long as you aren't breathing in too much of it or doing it in lines, then I think you should be alright. I would say just be aware of the good bugs you want to keep when applying it. I don't want to say 'yes' and someone post some obscure ill effect of DE so. . . . . . maybe!? :eh:
