Any thoughts what this might be?

I was out weeding my very neglected pepper patch, an where I planted chocolate Scorpions I found these? Any thoughts?

Shame. It's kind of pretty.
The one I had last year got massive and had 100's of berries/pods whatever they are...sucked it was too risky to keep around with young kids.

It is a myth that these are poisionus, they are like tomatos, posionus when unripe, but very edible when ripe... Remember, the berries are edible ONLY when ripe, I.E. totally black, very posionus when green, don't eat in large quantities... Taste like a very sweet tomato.
