Anybody having problems with snails this year?

Hi

It looked like summer had arrived here in Spain, all my seeds were germinating lovely then we had a couple of weeks of unexpected downpours which bought all those pesky snails out of hiding!
Overnight my seedlings had been munched to within an inch of their life.
Now it's hot again and the rains over, I have greenfly problems!
Don't know if they are weather related too?
I like all your snail tips!

Yeah I use salt or beer. I've also heard of people putting crushed egg shells around the pot as they don't like crawling over rough surfaces, or smearing vaseline around the rims of the pot.

you said vaseline and rim HE HE i am just j/k sorry
