Anyone else run into this?

On my fatalli plant, the two peppers that have started to ripen, on both pods it's like the stem died or something.
I picked both pods in the same condition, around a third of an inch or so at the top was ripe, then the stem died, and I had to pick it or risk losing it.

Anyone seen that before? The plant is otherwise healthy and I haven't noticed any bugs on it, this hasn't happened on any of my other plants, either.

I`ve actually had my chimayo plants doing the same.(spell check) I thought it was too much rain or low nitro.man sorry to see it but if you get a answer please pass it on.

Thats pod drop, could be too many pods, not enough water, too much water, magnesium problem... If it only happens to one or two it's ok.

I've seen that more than ever this year. Must have been all the early rain we had on the East Coast.
