Anyone here experienced in MLM (Multi Level Marketing)

Anyone here experienced in MLM (Multi Level Marketing)

I jumped into one about a year ago, and really hadn't done much, I'm starting to now
pull in extra cash, but looking to grow it faster and bigger. Just figured I would ask the community here because chances are
some of you might have been in some in the past or are in now struggling. Just looking for ideas.

I'm a Beachbody coach BTW, seemed like the safest to get into, with all the infomercials and promotion they do themselves.

thanks,

I dont know if this is what you were looking for but i tried selling /distributing tupperware, Amway, and Candles. Each time i hosted a party i lost money  :hell: . I also felt stupid asking friends to come over and buy stuff they really didnt need. Hence the reason i threw nice soiree's. I recentley had a gold buying guy come over. That had the most potential for profit, However, i knew these people upwards of 20 years. My split was supposed to be 10% of the profit. I was supposed to get about 500 bucks, i told the guy to just give them the other 10 %. I m in a position now that id rather have fun, not profit off of people i have become close to. So to wrap it up my experiance was non -profitable, but i gave it a shot when i was just finding my way in the world.

yeah its not really like that with the one I'm with. I'm making money with it, and not having to haggle friends and family and alienate them like other programs.

I have heard horrible stuff about some of them. Its not for everyone, when your like me you are looking for something to replace my job.. I'm getting closer daily.

I run a multi-tiered Affiliate Program for my business, kinda like MLM but with a different structure. Around 6 or so years ago I made steps towards going down the MLM route - software, attorneys, consultants the whole shebang. In the end I changed my mind in favor the the affiliate program route.

The reason for ditching MLM was the sheer level of stigma and prejudice against it, born from the fact that the products have too little value for money. With MLM's, most are not product driven. There's a product somewhere in the plan but it isn't the quality and value of the product that's the focus of the plan, it can't be, by definition. The focus is the smoke and mirrors used to lure in the new 'associates'. The product is almost incidental. New associates typically need to buy some form of 'marketing kit' and quite often must invest quite heavily in product to sell, which they are rarely able to do (at least that's what statistics tell us), since the price of the product is so heavily inflated to cover all of the different payout layers. So the revenue stream comes from the 'kit of parts' and the product is incidental. A business focusing on promoting a real product at a fair market price rarely goes down the MLM route, which tells us something. I know there are exceptions, my main experience is with nutritional and health products - other industries might be different.

Good luck with the program. If you're making money that's great. Statistically you're in the top 5 percentile just to have received commissions that have surpassed the break-even point, which I presume you have.

I'd love to see a link, if it's web based.

Cheers

Then I take it your other avenues to reach you target group went better than the thread you posted here?

Take it from an old fraud investigator, if anything is too good to true, then it is illegal, highly risky, or immoral...........or a combination thereof.

Good luck with your endeavor
