Anyone see or use these?

Someone posted this on my tobacco site and I thought I'd share it over here. Looks pretty good. Anyone have any experience with them?

I found this if you want to make your own: http://www.toppers-place.com/soil_blocks.htm

Here's a recipie for blocking soil: http://www.pottingblocks.com/blocking_mix_recipes.html

It's a clever idea, but I don't see it working good for peppers. The whole idea of using a seed starting mix is that it is light and fluffy for good root growth. This seems like the exact opposite. They might not hold up to bottom watering very well either.

 I can see myself doing this over and over and over again just to make the blocks....I would only have to do this trick a thousand times each year...

it may be good for those that start 20 or 30 seeds a year...but IMO it's a whole lot easier buying a 72 cell starting tray and a bag of seed starter and not nearly as messy....
