How do you feel about the rich assholes in congress deciding that I shouldn't get an unemployment extension while they get paid BY ME to make the vote?

(not that I'm bitter...)
 
That bites, sucks and blows. But not in a good way! We were discussing something similar in chat recently.

What would it take to get politicians to do the right thing?
 
Stop paying them and limit them to one year terms.

Shouldn't being voted as a representative of your country be an honor and NOT a paid position?
 
I am always serious. I hate repeating myself. I expect people to pay attention so I do not have to spend my precious energy covering old ground.

It is a game but games have rules don't they?
