Baby prOn!

Seeds came from a pod I bought at the grocery store, labeled as Red Habanero grown in Holland. It will be interesting to see what it'll turn out to be. It has grown considerably during the two days since I photographed it and displays the typical habanero shape.

Finally things are starting to happen here, but I will probably have to bring most of the plants inside during the nights soon if I want to give the pods a chanse to ripen. We can have days around 20-25 deg C in september, but we might also have frost in late august.

You wait for months and months for the first flower to appear, and then... BAM! It just seems like everything happens so fast...

Nice. You gotta love when they get a snout or inny on the bottom instead of a pointy tip. It seems to happen mostly with real hotties.

Ha! Didn't even think about that POTAWIE, who knows what kind of crosses the grower in The Netherlands are experimenting with?

The piece of yarn is there because the flower was isolated, I plan on keeping seeds.
