Bacterial Spot Infection

I'm looking at rain here in southern Oregon beginning Tuesday through at least Friday, with nigh time lows down to 37F Tuesday night, then gradual rising temps.  I've been cautioned to be prepared for possible bacterial spot infection in the weeks that follow.  I did some quick Googling and came up with this disconcerting info:

"Bacterial spot is one of the most devastating diseases of pepper and tomato grown in warm, moist environments. Once present in the crop, it is almost impossible to control the disease and prevent major fruit loss when environmental conditions remain favorable. The study of this bacterial pathogen also has significantly enhanced the scientific understanding of host-pathogen interactions and the molecular basis of the gene-for-gene model."

Significance
"Bacterial spot is one of the most devastating diseases of pepper and tomato. The disease occurs worldwide where pepper and tomato are grown in warm, moist areas. When it occurs soon after transplanting and weather conditions remain favorable for disease development, the results are usually total crop loss. Current chemical control is limited to copper or copper combined with maneb sprays that provide only marginal success thus making the disease very difficult to control once the epidemic is underway...".

Is this the disease I'm supposed to prepare for?  How does one prepare for this?  Organic remedies?

Really hate this disease, I've been having it every season when it rains a lot. This year I'm gonna use a copper solution to arm myself against it, not a fan of such solutions but tired of losing my plants to this pain in the ass.

I get it at plant out every year. I just let it go normally. Try to spray the leaves off in the afternoon but early enough that they dry before dark. The fog and extra water are hard to deal with but its never the end if the world. If it gets too bad strip the plant and let it grow back out.

Never tried AACT for bacterial spot, but i alternate between Ortho copper concentrate and Serenade concentrate.  I spray every week or two, and right after every rainstorm (can spread like wildfire after rain)

Doesn't seem to cure it 100% but it keeps it at bay so i don't have to strip the leaves off, and my  harvest stays on schedule because of it. Keep those leaves dry, never wet them unless you are treating them.

I still rip quite a few of the leaves off though, mostly the worst looking ones, and the ones that may start swinging into other plants.
