BBM or BBM?

Most of the bbm's I have seen have no lobes. Other growers say the one with lobes was like their Bbm. What I have is not a gator jigsaw I know now. Just asking which type is correct. The long or with lobes?

All of the BBMs I have seen have no lobes, like the picture on the left. That seems to be the normal phenotype for it. That being said, John Ford sells a lobeless Big Red Mama http://www.fordsfieryfoodsandplants.com/Chili-seeds-Capsicum/big-red-mama and a "Premium" Big Red Mama with lobes http://www.fordsfieryfoodsandplants.com/Chili-seeds-Capsicum/Big-red-mama-premium, so I'm thinking maybe the lobed look is just another possible phenotype for that pepper. Also, I don't know what generation the BBM is supposed to be at; maybe the thing is just not entirely stable yet?

Here's what mine looked like last year. But like BlackFatalii said, I'm not sure how stable it is. I got my seeds from Troy Primeaux, but he doesn't say which F generation it is.

thanks Adam for the photos. Some time I wonder what's going to grow next. I like surprises of this nature.'

You're welcome! I agree. Sometimes nature hands you great surprises. I love BBM. I actually crossed it last year with a pepper I got from you, 96Strat: your Caramel Madballz 7. I'm working with it this year. Should be interesting.

I loved the Carmel madballz 7 small, taste great and much hotter than you expect. It will probly be short and bumpy as hell. That would make the taste improve. Ps I will get you some of this pods seeds.

Oh wow! Really? Yes! I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd love to try this one. It'll make a great addition to my chocolate garden next year. :) Thank you very much!

Yeah... its the classic scorpion vs bhut phenotype situation that occurs with these crosses.  I prefer the scorpion phenos personally, as they are usually more gnarly.
