I don't see myself enjoying the cuisine in Britannia. 
 
I wish I wasn't allergic to shellfish and stuff because i'd love to tour around asia eating on the exotic dishes.

Food isn't defined like it used to be. Great Britain has great chefs/food just like here. If we all ate 50 year old recipes that defined a country it would be really boring.
 
I agree with you, but the fact remains, the average plate there is reportedly surprisingly under par ... and for someone like yourself who is used to NYC, it's going to be a n even more considerable disparity ...

I know there's good chefs, and good 'raunts, but I think you are paying a premium - whereas here you can find excellent 'dive' grub anywhere putting in a little work ...

I have some friends who have programmed on both sides, and it seems to be somewhat substantiated by actual account ...

Also recall hearing about it from the TB Bucs players perspective, in addition ...
 
and um scotch lol... best whisky in the world arguably... or not arguably just best in the world even if not my drink of choice.
