Yeah after look around I saw using everything from aspirin to saliva lol. In the end ill just use this technique I think (pardon the pot, seems everytime I look up a gardening technique all the results are for weed haha)

I'm hoping that cutting makes it for you!!! I heard water alone still works well, so i think you should be fine.

Maybe I'm still running on luck fumes. Less than 24 hours and it looks like the cutting (guess its more of a breaking lol) has already put out a 1/8th to 1/4th inch root or nub or whatever it is. I'd take a picture but I want to keep it in low light and undisturbed for a bit.

Best pic I could get without abusing the plant too bad. Just water so far. Can maybe see that lil protrusion, hasn't grown much since last night.

On the bright side, turns out me mum had some root hormone.

So should I just dip it in and put it to soil?
