Looks like bell to me, but being hot raises doubt. Maybe some sort of cross?

There was someone on another post who was looking to create a hot stuffing pepper. Like a hot bell. Sounds interesting, and you may have it.

I had some plants grow peppers like that last year, good flavor and hot. Never figured out what it was though. My plant came from a farmers and did not grow true.

Clone it.
If it's a 1 off cross, you may never see it again without years of breeding----and that only if you know what types of crossed produced it.

This, if it's a recent cross with two parents then next year's plants will have variance.

But you can save seeds from the best of 2014's pods/plants, repeat the process in 2015, and you may end eventually up with something stable and tasty. Or you may end up with a straight up bell pepper

I'd go for it though.

I'd go for it though.

Clone it, you will have it.
Breed it from one single instance of a cross of unknown generation, you may lose it forever.
Do both if you have the space to carry out a multi year program.
7 or 8 generations till stable enough to sell as a "new" type.

I am currently in this quandary.
