BER?

Two of my red bells have the ugly spots on the end. Is this BER? I've seen some cucumber beetles from time to time in my garden. Could this be damage from those?

Most likely is. Have you been having alot of rain and humidity? Some alien looking peppers there.

How so? Not terrible rain/humidity. They've been a bit dry. Also need to fert. Is the yellowish normal for bells?

No calcium in Epsom salt. Grab some Cal-Mag from the hydro shop.

If plants are growing in highly acidic soil or are getting too much water from heavy rain, over-irrigation or high relative humidity, they can develop calcium deficiency and blossom-end rot. Longstanding swings in transpiration rate can interrupt calcium uptake causing ber even though calcium is there.

Bells are especially susceptible to BER compared to other peppers in my experience.
