It's been a loooooooong season of poison ivy, bug bites, berry picking and train watching, and It's really starting to pay off! I'm in for a busy canning season! There are still a few blackberry stragglers to pick, and elderberries are around (They don't count, though. Cuz they're so easy to pick. I'm making a killing on them this season, btw,)

Homemade wild black raspberry jam on homemade whole grain bread with butter. Fuuuuuuuu... This is one if my last jars available to eat (I'll be sending some off to compete in the State Fair). I'm going to be making way more of this stuff this fall. It's the best.
edit: I also need to remember to send some of this to muskymojo for winning gm's Memorial Day contest. Hopefully this thread will remind me.
