seeds Best growing seed in your lifetime?

Have you ever had the best growing seed compared to any other?

I want to know what you grew and how big of a difference that seed to fruit was compared to others.

Maybe, we will find some similarities between the type of seed and/or sowing conditions.

My best plants from seed is a Tabasco. The seeds came from 2016 Tabasco plant that I saved seeds from. I started seeds in potting soil and stuck them in a West window (no southern facing window at work). The plants were transplanted into my raised bed gardens. The dirt I have in my gardens is just topsoil(nothing special)from the farm field across the road.

The bird style peppers have always been really easy for me. They just seem to always grow like crazy with minimal effort and they always produce tons of pods.

Yes they are but I had mockingbirds destroy almost every tomato I grew one year. I had to take care of the problem with my pellet gun. Never happened again
 
I'm fairly certain the growing ability of my seeds are primarily caused by my lack of skill / knowledge and certainly not the genetic fault of the seed itself.
 
When I use to shoot USPSA Production division the guys always asked me why I shot with a stock gun.  I told them simply, my in-accuracy is caused by my eye & arm, not by the gun at the end.  Until I can fix that, I don't think the gun really matters.
 
I was really impressed with the growth rate of my Aji Angelos last season. The taste isn't really there in the fresh peppers though, but the powder is pretty good. I use it on a lot of things.

I fully appreciate this concept, and i agree.  However, i treated all my seeds/plants with the same level of ineptitude in my first grow (2017) and found that some plants were far more forgiving of my mistakes than were others.  I really did well, initially, and had excellent germ rates.  I used the same method for all the seeds, and fond that some varieties germed at a better rate than others...
 
So yeah my skill level is still the limiting factor for the chiles i grow, but the degree of limitation absolutely varied.  And, in the end, i did far better than i´d anticipated; produced far more pods than i could reasonably handle.
