Hello everybody! I'm late again to the adventures of pepper growing. Seeds didn't hit the towel until March 6, so I have some still below, some hooks, and some little plants. Not too much to look at right now but how about a growlist.

Lots of crosses, purples, & BBG. I also air layered a clone from the Caramel Cinder F2 last year (with the help of pepper-guru...thanks, Rich) and it's been in stasis until recently. Just starting new growth and already set a pod.

I only have 2 little plants of the F2 going. I should've done more. One of them isn't looking the greatest. So I might only end up with one.

No need to apologize, I wasn't clear from the start.
 
Ah, that's too bad! F2 is where all the fun is at. Hope you have enough seeds to do a bunch of F2's next season. Maybe this little one is gonna give you some awesome pods!

Unfortunately, the pod I isolated last year (I use the glue method of isolation) only yielded 4 seeds. So I only have 2 left. But I did save some OP seeds from that variety, if you'd like me to send some your way.

Oof that's not a lot. I had the same problem with my cross, though I had a bit more luck with the amount of seeds. I had 8 or something. If you plan on doing any other crosses, I can recommend fatalii's guide. Basically you cut off the male parts before the petals open, so you don't need to isolate it afterwards. Thanks for the offer!

I have some F1 seeds if that's what you were looking for. When I made the original cross, that's what I did...fatalii's guide. Unless you mean emasculating a flower on F1 and taking pollen from that same plant and doing it that way? But I just glued a flower closed on F1 and only ended up with 4 F2 seeds. Does that make sense?

Whoops. I was a bit confused, my bad. Never mind what I said, 'twas but a brainfart. Sometimes I type before I think, lol!

I think you're right because I'm learning that half of the stuff they taught us was wrong. History stories, scientific studies that are continuing today with different results, etc. I did like biology. Even though we had crazy intestine stories. Lol
