Slosh's Bar & Grill 2014 Hot Sauce Advent Calendar - Day #3

Welcome back to Slosh's Bar & Grill and welcome to our 2014 Hot Sauce Advent Calendar ... 25 sauces in 25 days!

On the third day of Christmas Slosh tried Bhuty Black Taniwha from Fire Dragon Chillies - http://www.firedragonchillies.com ..

I have never tasted anything quite like this sauce ... a mixture of dark chillies and organic soy sauce ... a nice rich soy sauce with the flavour of chillies flowing through it ... with a reasonable heat ... it was a bit strange tasting an entire tablespoon of soy sauce but the flavour burst through and it was amazing ... a nice consistency ...

I can't wait to try this as a dipping sauce ... and then with a stir fry ... simply unique ... another great one guys ...

and lastly ... help me convince MammaCass that she needs to join me for some more reviews in this 25 sauces in 25 days ... I know together we can convince her that she CAN build that tolerance up ... pain is temporary and all that jazz ... so if you want to see more MammaCass let her know in the comments down below!

I'll see you guys tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by Slosh's Bar & Grill!

MORE MOMMACASS! Come on back MommaCass, we'd love to see you review more sauces with Slosh. You don't need to do an entire spoonful of the super hot sauces. It's not necessary to do so unless you have a higher tolerance to spicy foods. For a review all you really need is just enough to taste the heat and flavor which isn't much at all. You handled the Pex sauce extremely well for someone with little to no tolerance, I've seen people completely floored with lesser sauces and lesser amounts so cheers to you. If you want to increase your tolerance you can do it by just taking a drop or two of something that's currently spicy to you a few times a day until it's not so spicy and then just work your way up. No need to take entire spoonfuls at a time of the hottest sauces in the world to increase tolerance (you could and increase tolerance really fast but it's a hell of a ride doing it that way). Hell I started with tabasco sauce when I was 13 and it was hot as shit with just a few drops. But then it seemed like I was having to put half a bottle of it on things just to taste any heat. That's when I fell in love with all things spicy and worked my way up from there. So even if you decide not to try any more sauces I can respect that but I'm sure everyone would still love to see you there for moral support if nothing else. Have a great one you two!

Oh almost forgot, thanks for another review Slosh. I'm not a huge fan of soy sauce myself but it might be interesting with chiles in it. Maybe the chile kick would mellow out some of the saltiness I don't care for.
