Someone here on THP was awesome enough to share some Reaper x CGN21500 seeds with me last year and I can't remember who. I mistakenly deleted the PM from this person. If that person could please PM me. I had promised to send them pics of the pods
So I just read an article that talks about how some believe the earth is flat. And apparently this is catching on and gaining followers. REALLY? I thought this was a joke or maybe originated from the Onion but no this is real. I've spent the last hour reading their "beliefs". Mind blown. I just don't know what to say.
Glad this storm happened at the end of the season. 6' plants and 20-30mph gusts just don't get along no matter how close they're planted. Plus side going to be easier to pick all laid down. Negative is it's going to be hard to tell what's what. Some of the pods are even picked for me and laying all over the place
This grow season is really testing me. First delay after delay getting my plants in the ground and now damn Asiatic garden beetles are shredding my plants at night. I know that's what it is because I've found them burrowed down in some of the solo cups I haven't planted yet. Just waiting for dark to come out and wreak havoc. I hate using kill all type poisons but it might just come to that.
Back to the grind tomorrow. 5 or 6 more loads (1.25 cubic yards per) of mushroom compost being brought over tomorrow morning. Will make 9 loads total worked into my 30' x 30' ground plot Hope it doesn't rain
No gardening today. Need a damn break. Past few days have been brutal under the sun. Can barely close either hand and the rest of me feels like I've been hit by a truck. Next year won't require so much work. It's all worth it though. Once those plants are heavy with pods I'll forget about the days like today
So my hardening off has been delayed. Had to disassemble and reassemble both shelving units so I could make each shelf bigger. Most plants had grown up into and past the lights. A few "burned" tops. This should buy me another few weeks if needed
