This video is a little long, but here is what's happening. As i had posted in another forum, i received some pepper samples from a guy in California. He calls his specialty pepper the BIG KUSH, the original seed may be from guam, and he is the only person he knows of growing them. I use some of the pepper to make a classic spicy custard. The recipe is referenced from TOASTED CHILI CUSTARD and here is the modified version:

2 eggs
2egg yolks,
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground KUSH pepper, (you can use any poeder you want, hab, bhut, whatever.
1/4 tsp salt
WHISK THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS

IN A SAUCEPAN SCALD
2 cups heavay cream
1/4 tsp vanilla

POUR HALF OF THE CREAM MIX INTO THE EGG MIX AND WHISK, THEN POUR IT ALL BACK IN THE SAUCEPAN WITH THE REST OF THE CREAM AND SIMMER UNTIL THICK.

POUR INTO MINI PIES CUPS OR RAMMEKINS AND PLACE IN A DEEP BAKING PAN WITH SOME WATER IN IT.
BAKE AT 300 FOR 35 MIN.
CHILL FOR THREE HOURS
TOP OFF WITH SOME SPRINKLING OF A MIX OF 2TBS BROWN SUGAR TO 1 TSP PEPPER POWDER
