Black seeds

Some of my moruga peppers have Black on some seeds. Are the seeds still usable?

Seeds are not usable, but the pods should be okay for consumption. If the placental tissue is black then throw the pod out.

Black seeds mean that the seeds are rotten and should not be used for germinating. As mentioned its ok to eat the pod as long as the pod is free of rot and or mold
