fermenting blending fermented sauce with or without seeds?

When u blend up your fermented mash into sauce do u blend seeds, pulp and all or do u strain it or run it through a food mill? I've tried both over the last few years and I'm not sure what I like better.... To be completely honest a good part of the time my mash never makes it to sauce, I just put it on stuff like eggs and chicken as is :)
