was thinking of getting one, if not worth the money whats the best alternative.

We sell those at my work and they are expensive and we get some returns on them for sure but if you can get a 5 year warranty that's nice. If you want a much cheaper one that's popular at the store and i own one myself is this one.

I see a lot of meters of all kinds come back to the store and all they need is a good cleaning most of the time.

I've used a few over the years and always went back to the bluelab.They are very accurate and last forever. Just keep it clean and you will love it.
