Bonda Problem: Anyone know what's going on here?

Every pod on one of my Bondas as a sort of rot at the stem end. It starts as a white spot, then becomes an expanding, larger white area. This is not blossom end rot, since it's not the blossom end. It's something else. Never seen it before. Not afflicting my other two bondas - just the one plant. Any thoughts?

I've had the same thing on a pod here and there but never on an entire plants worth of pods. I thought it was a severe sunburned spot brought on by the sun shining through a drop of water on the pod. Wish I could be of more help, sorry.

I've had that issue with slugs eating the top layer off the pod then the sun burning them.

Looks a lot like sun scald to me, are the pods exposed to the sun very much? I've had a fair amount of sun scald lately with the intense heat causing leaves to wilt during the day and exposing the pods to intense sunlight.
