Bottles

I am starting to find that these 5 ounce woozy bottles just don't last me very long.  Great for shipping out samples though.  My question is what does everyone else do?  The simplest thing for me to do would be to water bath some 1/2 pint mason jars and be done with it.  But I also really like the looks of the woozy.  I see they sell a ten ounce woozy too.  Decisions lol.

Just trying to get a feel for what everyone else does.

One thing to consider is the frequency of use. Some people don't use hot sauce all that often, so a 5 ounce woozy goes a long way. Its why I use them, since I've had some people who bought bottles from me over a year ago that still have it, while others drink sauce like water lol. Plus, I don't know how many people have refrigerators devoted to storing hot sauce in bulk lol...

Been searching on Fillmore and looking at their BBQ 12 ounce bottles and a stout 16 ounce bottle.  Would these hot fill the same as a woozy where you'd just invert it.  I would assume it would work the same way.

Pretty much, yeah :)

Jeff, just make more bottles :D

I bought 5 cases of hot sauce bottles from Filmore a couple of years ago, add that to the 10 or more recycled ones I have. Since they are all for personal use, 70+ bottles lasts me a while.

Your canning 1/2 pint containers will, of course, work fine, but I like the woozie look. Hard to pour out of a 1/2 pint jar too.

The look is what has me torn as well.  I have a few recycle bottles, but I just use them for my own use.  The new ones are the ones I use for free samples.

Sort of leaning towards a ten ounce woozy instead of a 12 ounce bbq....I could go 16 ounce bbq, but then I might just as well go pint mason jar.

Next up will be getting creative with labels.  Then mastering a second sauce recipe.
