Hey guys, Im looking to start my next batch of seedling for this season, and have heard quite a bit about the 7Pod Brain Strain and have seen awesome pictures of the pods and plants. Anybody happen to still have some seeds that would be up for selling a few or trading?

I am not sure of anyone who has seeds at this time, but I know that Pepper Ridge Farm is the original source and he is going to be selling some shortly. Try to contact him.

Harvesting fresh 7 Pod Brain seed today, all I can promse is to get you on the list of people who want seed as have 15 people already waiting, PM me.

Stock market is in a bear, but Tulip mania is going gang busters. You know your always welcome to anything I've grown Chris. The pepper community would not be what it is without you we know that. Didn't I hear you were selling plants what the difference? I have some pods on my Primo strain and I have to say they look down right knarley, thank you. I have done my best to make sure brain strain seed was passed on to the right hands, no easy feat. No longer can I be the keeper of this strain it is up to our community to carry on. My three year old is past her prime won't be producing berries much longer. Maybe I helped somewhere along the way to keep this strain alive. Peace.

WHAT!!???!!
Dude, you are my hero. My brainstrain is my pride and joy. I, for one, greatly appreciate your generosity...a million thanks! I hope you keep your mother plant going.

Hey PRF has that plant been in the same soil for three years?

For the most part yes, the soil directly around the root ball is the same even though I have repotted and added soil many times. When I overwinter again I plan on potting up in all new soil to see if that gives the brain mom a new lease on life. This plant is like a child and part of the family now. You are very welcome origamiRN, glad to help.

Yea that soil is probably beat. You plan on cutting any of the roots back when you pot it up? That root ball is probably a beast by now. Maybe even try taking a cutting at the end of the season.

My plant is starting to throw out some pods and they are looking true to the parent. Thanks again.

PRF, I'd love to see some pictures of your 7 Pod Primo peppers if you don't mind. :) I'm glad you like them. I'm hoping I get a crop this year of them, but it's starting very slow. I'm pretty sure the raised bed I have my super hots in has some Ph or nutrient issues. The plants are growing pathetically. Luck of the draw I guess as the bed next to it is going gangbusters where all my Pubescens are. I never again will put out any size peppers except those in 4" pots+. The extra rootball size is a huge deal in my climate.
