Brown/Chocolate reccomendations?

Now there is something I hadn't heard about. The chocolate Savina compared to regular chocolate habaneros. Could you give me better details on taste and how much hotter they are? Thanks.

What is a UBSC?

Unknown Brain Strain Cross.  The brown originated in pic1's garden who is also the creator of the scotch brain.  He sent me seeds in 2014 I think and I grew a bunch, there was a couple of different phenos.  First pic is from Pic1 and the next picture is the ones I've been growing out.

Swiss chocolate  for the days you just want to pop a pepper in the garden.
Not OTT hot , but good enough to eat.
I think I got it from WHP.

Im growing  quite a few chocolate habaneros. I'll tell you how they worked out or follow my glog, but as much as i heard about them, they taste good.

These are open pollinated so may not grow true (this year we are growing isolated), but these brown bhuts were absolutely vicious last year at my farm;

Out of all of the varieties I grew last year, this was the only one which legitimately made me puke. I simply couldn't hold it down. I thought I had it whipped, sat down for 20 minutes sweating in the air conditioned retail spot at my farm. Walked back out to flip an irrigation valve and the motion stirred up the contents of my gut enough that I involuntarily puked. (And good grief if I thought it hurt going down it was 10x worse coming back up, as some of it went through my nose...)

Out of all of the ultra-hots I've grown, it's the *only* one that made me puke. Also blistered my damn gums.

I'm not even going to attempt a guess at SHU, anything over 1 mil tends to hit me the same, but this one was especially intense.

It didn't taste particularly good, it hit like a freight train and before I could even register flavor I was hurting bad enough to crumple me.

Keep in mind, at that point in the season I was routinely eating reapers and primos and brainstrains in the field to figure out what plants to save pods from, so I was very well attuned to hot.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; browns & chocolates just hit me harder than the reds and others. I know the Scoville tests tend to show different, and I know that a lot of folks feel the opposite, but those brown pods just kick the living shit out of me. Caramels have a similar effect but not to the same degree.

In the end, though, nothing makes you look more like some sort of practitioner of arcane wizardry* quite like having a basket full of dark and gnarly chocolate superhots on your person, especially if you're bike bar-hopping with a bunch of jibaros on a Sunday evening in September.

*I'm sure some folks have other ways to describe something like that LOL

Probably not the most likely situation I'd find myself in. But I get the feeling just the same lol. Really excited for this season.
