Browning/yellowing buds/new growth and falling leavings

Hi all,
 
Been having quite an issue as of late. Some of my plants have started to go light brown on new growth and also new buds, and soon after, they just fall off.
 
Then, some of the leaves are turning somewhat brown from under, and then they fall off. Pictures:

Any idea why this happens?
 
I haven't fertilized in a while, so I doubt it's fertilizer burn.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
