Buds drying out

Hi,

I have recently started growing my first pepper, being the carolina reaper. The plat grew very quickly, but recently I have noticed a problem. Its buds are drying out and turning black. I have already lost about half of the plant buds. Some of them grow a little, but after a few days they thicken and fall off. I have no idea about what did I do wrong. I would appreciate any help.

The flowers aren't opening up? I know indoor I think you might have to help with pollination, but if the flowers arent developing then it has to be something else.

No they are not opening up. They just stay closed for a week or so and then they fall off. I was thinking it might be because of lack of sunshine or low temperature, but that's just my guess

Flower drop probable causes:

1. Day temp too high >95F
2. Night temp too low <65F or too high >85F
3. Too much nitrogen fertilizer
4. Too much water
5. Low light levels (reduces fertility).
6. Very low humidity (reduces fertility)
7. Poor air circulation (air circulation contributes to pollination).
8. Lack of pollinating insects.
9. Size of pot
10. Too much mineral in feedwater.
11. Too much grower attention/anxiety.

Good, extensive list!
When did you germinate the seeds, Teapeh?

Btw, Williard, you live in Cuernavaca?! The city of eternal spring, right? Should be awesome growing conditions :)

Did you checked the list of Willard3 ? Nothing match with your situation?
Please also put a pic of the pot (comparing to the entire plant), or post pot size.
Are these the first flowers of the plant?
