misc Bug ID - Ladybug Post-Larvae?

I went out to check my plants this evening and found this:
 

 

 
I haven't seen any ladybug larvae on my plants, but then again I haven't been looking.  These little guys seemed to want to stick together when I poked at them.  I did pull one off and it yielded fairly easily to its doom.
 
Any thoughts?  Should I nuke from orbit?

I've hit them with a Safer Soap and Neem Oil mix in the sprayer; I did all of the plants in the yard.
 
My searching so far says that in Florida this is not a known pest, instead it is out west in California and New Mexico.

     They're stinkbugs. Nuke them from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
