Really hard to tell since its dried. Bulgarian carrots I grew last year were longer than what's pictured, bright orange and chok full of seeds. Same medium to high heat though.
man, it's a bummer this is a dried pod.... but the shape of the pod is similar to a smaller (shorter) Bulgarian Carrot pod, the tip is not pointy which is kinda right shape for this variety... the calyx (even if it's dried) looks similar too
I dried some of my Bulgarian Carrot pepper this year into powder, the flesh of the dried chili you have pictured has the same color as mine when dried. If that means anything, lol. Is it chok full of seeds like SmokenFire suggested?
It looks correct to be a BC. The stem especially. As said, hard to be sure since it is dried, but I think you are on track with your guess. Another way to tell is that the Bulgarian Carrot has extremely thick flesh.
