Burger Throwdown 6/19-6/20

Hey ya'll once again from the big dry ditch here in Las Vegas!
Now that summer is here and the grills and smokers are fired up, it is now time! I challenge ya'll to a BURGER THROWDOWN this Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th.

THE RULES:

Any type of meat goes as long as it is ground and in patty form. Beef, chicken, gator, porcupine, whatever...but has to be meat of some sort. NO VEGGIE THINGY'S!

The burger can be grilled, pan fried, smoked, deep fried, broiled, steamed, or electrocuted. Doesn't matter.

The burger has to be on a bun or at the vary least, between 2 pieces of bread. NO PITA or WRAPS or BANANA LEAVES!

Toppings can be traditional or not. Let your mind wander or in IGG's case...stumble.

Posted pics are mandatory or it never happened. Post as many burgers as you want or just one. Your choice!

Last and final rule...This is THP after all so the burger has to have either chile's or hotsauce in or on the burger or on the plate served on.

I thought this throwdown might possibly effect the goin's on in a certain household in Cleveland but decided, meh...they can do a collective burger entry ala Drunken Chef Style...should be funny as hell and damned tasty too!

We will start off the Throwdown in the Spicy Foods and Concoctions sometime on Friday. If you can't do your burgers then, cookem' earlier in the week and post later on Friday.

All you Noobs to the THP feel free to jump in here too!

One last 'thang...bring your A game ya'll. I know a certain THP that has a killer burger he's throwin' down.

OH SNAP! Hamburgers tend to wreak havoc on my guts, but I love them all the same! I have a few ideas I wanted to try out for the last couple of months and now I have a reason.

Also, I must point out a few flaws in your 'rules'.

1. I don't play by anyone's rules. Not yours, not anyone's, not even my own.

2. You didn't mention ANYTHING about booze. Nodda. Nothing. Zip. ZILCH! ZERO! Did THP go dry on me while I wasn't looking?
 
It took exactly 1 hour and five minutes for the first booze connotation to corrupt the thread. THP truly IS a Drinking Forum with a Pepper Problem

BTW Five...when you post the burger pics, don't just post a booze pic. Remember...we're hardcore here...we want pics of the liqour cabinet too!

In conclusion, TB FAIL! However, good call on the burger throwdown, and I can't wait to see the entrails... um.. entries!

Yea they do! After the case of beer I have in the fridge, the case of beer I have on the floor, and the case in the kitchen, I only have 2 cases left. IF we are to do this throw down properly, there has to be booze of some sort.
 
For the booze lovers I may try a Beer Brat Burger. Seasoned ground pork shaped into a patty, grilled to perfection, and simmered in beer and onions, or something... me thinks it over.

Soooo..you HAVE been practicing your kung fu! Beer Brat Burger is an awesome idea! Got me thinking burgers again...as the alcoholics on this site and their near revolt had me thinking what booze drinks to post pics. That being said...I have the ultimate booze piccy porn for them...but not 'til Throwdown day!
